Which events is British Esports speaking at?
The British Esports Association often attend public conferences, trade shows and other gaming events.
If you want to find out about our views or catch-up in person with us, attending these events is a great way to do so. Here’s a list of some upcoming events we’ll be attending or speaking at.
SMMEX International 2019 – March 4th 2019
Held within the iconic Wembley Stadium, SMMEX provides your business with a platform to network and strike up partnerships with the biggest sports clubs, associations, retailers, tourist attractions, corporate brands and universities from across UK and beyond.
British Esports advisory board member Darren Newnham will be speaking at the event this year.

Sheridans Sports Industry Masterclass – March 27th 2019
The focus of this year’s event will be the changing face of the sports industry, with discussions on modern-day commercial partnerships, digital content, influencer talent and the crossover between sports, entertainment and esports.
There will be many from the esports industry attending including British Esports.
Loughborough University London Workshop – April 12th 2019
The Institute for Sport Business and Institute for International Management are conducting a workshop which aims to investigate the potential role of social impact and corporate social responsibly within the esports industry.
British Esports advisory board member David Yarnton will be getting involved with the workshop.

Women in Sport Summit – June 19th 2019
This conference will drive progress by tackling the biggest challenges facing the industry, while highlighting women’s crucial role in the sector’s growth. Through its solutions-focused approach, the event will provide delegates with the skills and confidence they need to realise their ambitions at work.
The event takes place at London’s Twickenham Stadium and will feature a talk from British Esports founder Chester King.

NSPCC How Safe Are Our Children? Conference 2019 – June 25th-26th
Get key insights on child safety online at the NSPCC’s annual two-day conference, How safe are our children? Growing up online 2.0. Join sector leaders sharing their knowledge, innovations and solutions to protect children online, and get involved in interactive activities to learn techniques and skills you can take away and use in your professional practice. Topics include: young people and digital relationships; the ‘internet of things’; gaming and the dark web.
British Esports head of education Tom Dore will be speaking at this event.
The conference takes place at the QEII Centre, London on 25-26 June 2019.
