We spoke to Schools & Colleges Liaison Officer, Alice Leaman about the Winter Season of the Championships.

“The winter season of the Championships 2019/20 has been amazing to see thus far with the record numbers of teams registering, competitive matches in the group stage, and the fantastic finals. We’ve had some great positive feedback from those involved who have discovered the benefits of esports as an enrichment activity, such as increased communication, teamwork, and attendance from their students. It’s wonderful to see many schools and colleges embracing esports as a whole, from broadcast production to team management and marketing. For the spring season, we expect to see many returning teams, but also hope to encourage more new teams to discover esports”.
