Which events is British Esports speaking at?
The British Esports Association often attend public conferences, trade shows and other gaming events.
If you want to find out about our views or catch-up in person with us, attending these events is a great way to do so. Here’s a list of some upcoming events we’ll be attending or speaking at.
IBC Conference 2019 – September 13th-17th
This conference boasts a range of content including lounge talks exploring diversity and sustainability in media and entertainment, to tech talks taking a deep dive into the latest tech trends and innovations and more.
There will be an esports programme on September 17th. At 9.30am British Esports CEO Chester King will be moderating a panel on ‘entry into esports ROI and expectations’, featuring Ginx TV CEO Michiel Bakker and EA head of broadcast Joe Lynch.

ESI London 2019 – September 16th
ESI London is an international esports conference and exhibition, taking place this year on September 16th and 17th.
The event will provide two days of industry leading content. The tracks are designed to help educate, spark creativity and debate for those embedded in the industry and those outside of it. ESI London will provide a great opportunity to forge new business relationships and help businesses find the right partners.
British Esports’ Dominic Sacco will be moderating a panel on UK esports on September 16th.

Esports Regulatory Congress – September 23rd
Esports Regulatory Congress takes place on September 23rd to 24th in Barcelona, Spain.
The Congress gives an opportunity to make clear points and reach desired goals to more than 200 professionals from all over the world.
Top-notch C-level representatives of Esports industry participate: regulators, organizations, publishers and other affiliated parties will gather.
British Esports CEO and founder Chester King will be talking at the event on September 23rd.

Science Museum Lates: Esports and Cyber Security – September 25th
The cyber security industry needs people. Esports is on the rise. The natural aptitudes that make gamers and cyber professionals good at their jobs are incredibly similar. Could the future of our online security come from the exploding world of competitive video gaming?
British Esports Association has teamed up with QinetiQ to run this special event featuring Rocket League matches for members of the public to take part in, while learning about the cyber security industry and the skills gaming can give for careers like this.

EGX 2019 panel covering how to get a career in esports – October 18th
Head to the EGX Theatre on Friday 18th October at 12pm for a to join an expert panel formed by the British Esports Association as they talk about the opportunities in the esports space, what it takes to land a job and how you can find the right role for you.
