The British Esports Association will be speaking at three major conferences over the next month, one based on esports, one on education and another on the future of content.

ESI London – September 20th

ESI London is a three-day esports business conference focused on building a bridge between expertise and interest, and explaining esports from the inside out.

It consists of a full day of esports workshops and debates covering topics such as how to build a brand and make content just like an esports endemic, the ins and outs of running a team, whether franchised leagues are good or bad for the ecosystem, the importance of PR in esports, sim racing, legal and compliance and more.

Day one will consist of networking, day two focuses on esports – with an evening Hall of Fame at the Natural History Museum – while day three will boast a comprehensive betting on esports track.

British Esports content director Dominic Sacco will be a part of ESI London’s panel titled ‘UK esports – it’s coming home?’

The panel will take a look behind the scenes at what the UK is currently doing to grow esports locally, and tap into the fifth largest video game market in the world. It will run on September 19th from 11.20am to 12pm. Speakers include:

  • Kieran Holmes-Darby – Managing Director – exceL Esports
  • Scott Gillingham – UK Gaming & Esports Lead – Intel Corporation UK
  • Ben Greenstone – Private Secretary to the Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries – DCMS
  • Dom Sacco – Content Director – British Esports Association
