British Esports Announces Appointment of Alex Davies, Performance Advisor

Sunderland, UK, Tuesday 28th June, 2022 – British Esports, the not-for-profit organisation and national body set up to support grassroots esports in the UK, is excited to announce the appointment of Alex Davies, in the newly created role of Performance Advisor.

Alex’s role at British Esports will be to focus on delivering the best performance advice possible across a broad range of topics, from supporting the Home Nations competing in this year’s Commonwealth Esports Championships, to delivering performance training at the brand new National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland.

Recognised for his work in sports performance and coaching, Alex has worked at the elite level of esport for the previous 3 years, with a background in traditional sports coaching, exercise, nutrition, sports management, cognitive function, well-being, and emotional regulation.

“I’m really pleased to be joining British Esports at this time, with so many great initiatives underway.” said Alex Davies, Performance Advisor, British Esports.  “The launch of the National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland, and the Commonwealth Esports Championships are some of the biggest events in the UK this year and I’m really looking to make an impact.”
