All-Party Parliamentary Group
Supporting UK Esports, Sim Sports and Virtual Sports Athletes.
#APPG
The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Video Games and Esports brings together UK MPs and members of the House of Lords to support and promote the video games and esports sector in Parliament.
Working closely with Loughborough University (co-secretariat with British Esports) and those engaged with esports at every level, the group helps highlight the sector’s sporting, creative, economic, technological and cultural value to the UK.
It also provides a space for parliamentarians, industry leaders and key stakeholders to discuss important issues, shape policy conversations and encourage future growth across the industry.
A key purpose of the group is to provide a forum where parliamentarians, industry leaders and key stakeholders can come together to discuss important issues affecting the sector and reinforce the UK as an esports powerhouse.
Through meetings, events and conversations, the APPG helps encourage constructive dialogue around education, safety, skills, inclusion and the wider impact of competing at the highest level for the UK.
