British Esports Launches British Esports Cup Ft. Rocket League:

A National Search for Hidden Talent!

British Esports, the UK’s national esports body, invites Rocket League players of all skill levels aged 13+ to join the British Esports Cup Ft. Rocket League.

Open to all UK residents, this tournament offers an exciting chance for players to showcase their talent on  a global stage, and compete for a £5,000 prize pool.

The competition kicks off with online qualifiers from March 14th to March 16th, 2025, and culminates in a live grand final at BP Pulse Live, NEC Campus, on March 26th ahead of the RLCS 2025 Major Birmingham.

The winning team will not only earn cash prizes but also appear in the live broadcast at one of the most anticipated esports events of the year.

Whether you’re a casual player or a budding professional, this tournament is your chance to shine on a national stage!

Online Qualifiers: 14th March – 16th March 2025

LIVE Lan Finals: 26th March 2025

Venue: bp Pulse Live (NEC Campus)

Prize Pool: 1st Place (£3,000), 2nd Place (£1,000), 3rd and 4th Place (£500 each)

As part of a ‘Game On Birmingham’, the inaugural British Esports Cup will feature alongside West Midlands Unwrapped, an invite only Esports Summit on Friday 28th March.

The Summit will play host to leading figures from industry, educators and businesses to discuss the role the West Midlands can play in developing esports, nurturing talent both on and off the stage, together with hosting global and local events.

With a rich history in gaming and esports, the West Midlands has hosted major events in Dota 2 and the first Commonwealth Esports Championships, alongside the Commonwealth Games in 2022.

The British Esports Cup Ft Rocket League, is kindly supported by funding from the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and the UK Government with funding from the Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund.
