I Belong in Esports (KS3/13-14)

The National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) is collaborating with British Esports on this exciting student event, taking place at the National esports Performance Campus (NEPC) in Sunderland.

Female and non-binary students in Year 9 (age 13-14) are invited to join us for a fun day of exploring the world of esports, through a carousel of engaging workshops and talks (and of course there will be a chance to to play games!). They’ll learn how computer science and digital skills link to careers within esports. Students will meet a range of role models working in the sector, with plenty of opportunities to ask them questions to gain a real insight into this thrilling industry.

This event is for students accompanied by their teacher(s).

This event takes place surrounding British Esports’ Be The Change: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Summit, with General Admission and student discount tickets available.
