Women in Esports, the equity, diversity and inclusivity project of the British Esports Federation, has today announced changes to its Committee, including the addition of two new members.

We’re delighted to welcome Sara Heritage and Georgiana Froud to the Committee.

Sara replaces Savannah Ross, who has left creative agency Ear to the Ground and also the Committee, and recommended Sara to join us in her place.

Elsewhere, Sue Lavasani has taken on a new role with IMG as Partnerships Manager, and remains Chair of Women in Esports.

We also want to say a huge thank you to outgoing members Billie Purdie and Jasmine Hong for their contributions to Women in Esports and British Esports, and wish them well on their future endeavours after they stepped down late last year.

There’s more information on our two new Committee members below.

Sara Heritage (She/They)

Sara is an award-winning gaming creative and journalist, known for her innovative work with major gaming brands including PlayStation, 2K, and more. “I’m thrilled to be part of the Women in Esports committee – change starts with community and I’m so passionate about creating more genuine opportunities for women and marginalized genders to shine in these spaces,” Sara said.

Georgiana Froud Women in Esports. British Esports Federation

Georgiana has worked in esports for over three years in tournament operations, events management and community management.
