Every Monday throughout September, the British Esports Association will be hosting open sessions for teachers, parents, students and anyone else who is interested in esports.

They will be able to come and ask our school and college liaison officers about anything related to the 2020/21 British Esports Championships for schools and colleges.

These sessions are to help you with any issues you may have with using the tournament platform, setting up your teams, the use of the Discord platform, the different games and anything else you might want to talk about.

Our school and college liaison officers will provide an overview, then participants on the call will be able to type their questions in the chat to get them answered.

We will also try our best to help you with any technical issues you may have surrounding your school or college networks and firewalls.

It’s also important to note that the season format has changed this year, so we can help explain the new format and any questions regarding the new changes. We are simultaneously updating our code of conduct to reflect the fact that schools and colleges will likely be operating on a limited or restricted timetable, and as such, will be discussing some students who may need to play from home.

When are the sessions and how can I join?

There will be four total sessions at the following dates and times:

  • Monday 7th September: 4:30pm-5:30pm
  • Monday 14th September: 4:30pm-5:30pm
  • Monday 21st September: 4:30pm-5:30pm
  • Monday 28th September: 4:30pm-5:30pm

The sessions will be held on Zoom.
You can join via your web browser, or you can download the zoom software to join.

All you need to do is enter the following meeting ID associated with the sessions here: 854 2252 9693. You can also join by clicking this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85422529693

We hope to see you there!
