Why Esports Coaching Matters

Safeguarding the Future of Esports.

Esports coaches and leaders facilitating esports programmes and events are integral to the development of esports and the individuals and teams that play and compete.

Effective coaching involves the holistic development of an individual or team, not just game-based skills and strategies. Although an individual is, or was, a good player, that does not automatically mean they are a good coach.

Well trained, knowledgeable coaches and leaders are better equipped to create safe, healthy, inclusive esports environments and provide appropriate support, advice and guidance to empower players and teams to achieve their full potential.

Esports Coaching helps safeguard the future of esports

Elevating Coaching Standards In Esports

Esports organisations seek scalable coaching solutions to boost team performance and achieve measurable results.

Players want professional-level coaching to enhance their skills, while parents prioritise a safe and developmentally supportive environment.

Accredited training for esports coaches is vital in meeting these demands, ensuring a thriving, sustainable ecosystem.

The Current Situation in Esports

No Professional Coaching Standards.

Unlike traditional sport, the esports industry does not currently have recognised professional standards or expectations for coaches or leaders who work with players and teams.

Establishing coaching standards in esports is essential for promoting and upholding the integrity of the industry.

Globally recognised professional standards will support the positive development of esports players, the professional development of coaches and the continued growth and credibility of the esports industry.
