British Esports Announces England Player Roster for Commonwealth Esports Championships

Competing in 6 categories, Esports England are aiming for medals in Dota 2, Rocket League and eFootball at the ICC, Birmingham.

Sunderland, UK, Thursday 14th July, 2022 – British Esports, the not-for-profit organisation and national body set up to support grassroots esports in the UK, are pleased to announce the player roster for Esports England at the inaugural Commonwealth Esports Championships, ahead of the Finals at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, on 6th and 7th August.

Competing against 28 other nations from across the 72 members of the Commonwealth, Esports England will be competing for glory in the following categories:

• Dota 2 Open & Dota 2 Women’s 
• Rocket League Open & Rocket League Women’s
• eFootball Open & eFootball Women’s

Many players representing Esports England this year have tier one experience competing in professional leagues within their discipline, as well as representing professional organisations such as Luminosity Gaming, Alliance, Misfits Gaming, Ninja’s in Pyjamas, 00nation, Team Endpoint, Into the Breach and more.  This years Esports England roster includes;

• eFootball Womens – Alia ‘ALIAWGHARVEY’ Harvey.
• eFootball Open – Stephen ‘PIRATE’ Singh.
• Rocket League Open – Kurtis ‘KASH’ Cannon, Joe ‘HIBBS’ Hibbert, Dylan Harry ‘EEKSO’  Pickering, Joseph ‘GROWLII’ Caffrey.

• Dota 2 Womens – Lily ‘ALWAYS~CHANGING’ Milne, Ellenor ‘BELLEMIKU’ Howard, Karen ‘KARENLYL’ Liu, Emily ‘GIMMICK’  Huxley, Ruby ‘RUBY’ Dawn.
