Learners completing their BTEC Level 2 in Esports will be aiming to go on to further study, employment or onto an apprenticeship.

The BTEC Level 2 Award in Esports from Pearson and British Esports is 120 GLH and is designed for learners working at this level.
It is aimed at students who are taking a study programme which includes a number of different subjects.

It offers learners the opportunity to study esports alongside a broad range of L2 qualifications, such as English, Mathematics, Media, IT, Sports, Business or Enterprise.
The BTEC Level 2 Award in Esports is fully endorsed by the British Esports Federation as being suitable for learners as an introduction to esports.
The BTEC Level 2 Award in Esports has been developed in consultation with key stakeholders. This ensures that the content is appropriate and consistent with current industry practice to enable learners to enter further study.

The BTEC Level 2 Award in Esports has a primary focus on progressing into further education when taken with other qualifications at L2.
Learners taking this qualification may want to progress into further study such as the BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Esports, Information Technology, Creative Media, Sport, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship or Business.
