The British Esports Association has announced plans to help support the National Videogame Museum (NVM) in Sheffield.

The museum faced closure due to COVID-19, but a successful fundraising campaign, including support from Yogscast and national media coverage, has seen it pull in additional funds.

Now British Esports is helping out. Throughout the next month, we will give any money we receive from viewer subscriptions on our Twitch channel to the National Videogame Museum direct, to help it remain open during the coronavirus lockdown.

The museum had considered adding an esports section in the future – we hope this still happens. Why not help support the museum and check out our content at the same time?
