World of Warcraft is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game (MMORPG). Players create their own avatar-style character and explore the world of Azeroth. They can play solo or team up with others to level up, defeat enemies (or other players) and compete quests.

Set in the fictional world of Azeroth, World of Warcraft (WoW) allows players to create avatar-style characters and explore a sprawling always-online universe solo or with other real-world players, while interacting with non-player characters (NPCs).

Players can level up, complete quests and take part in PVE (player-vs-environment) dungeons and raids against the computer, or get involved in more competitive PVP (player-vs-player) raids, 1v1 duels and 3v3 arena battles.

There’s also Mythic Dungeon Internationals, where two teams of five race to complete a dungeon first. And then there’s the Race to World First competitions, where esports organisation and guilds compete with another to see who can complete a new raid first.
