British Esports Celebrates Home Nations Qualification for the Commonwealth Esports Championships

British Esports is proud to announce that England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales have all qualified for the Commonwealth Esports Championships Playoffs, ahead of the Finals, at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, on 6th and 7th August.

Competing against 28 other nations from across the 72 members of the Commonwealth, Esports England, Esports Wales, Esports Northern Ireland and Esports Scotland, will be representing the home nations in the following categories:

• Dota 2 Open: Esports England & Esports Wales
• Dota 2 Women’s: Esports England & Esports Wales 
• Rocket League Open: Esports England & Esports Wales
• Rocket League Women’s: Esports England, Esports Wales & Esports Scotland 
• eFootball Open: Esports England, Esports Wales, Esports Northern Ireland & Esports Scotland 
• eFootball Women’s: Esports England, Esports Wales & Esports Northern Ireland

British Esports is proud to support the Home Nations at the inaugural Commonwealth Esports Championships and looks forward to building a legacy for future generations of esports fans and communities.

Matches will be streamed on the Global Esports Federation Twitch and YouTube channels on the 6th and 7th August respectively, with all fixtures set to be announced soon.
