Lioness Cup 2025: Sign-ups open as Women in Esports VALORANT tournament returns

Women in Esports is excited to announce the return of the Lioness Cup 2025, its flagship tournament championing women and marginalised genders in competitive gaming.

The 2025 edition will take place from December 8th to 12th 2025, bringing together teams from across the EMEA region for five days of thrilling VALORANT competition.

A Stage for Representation

The Lioness Cup is part of British Esports’ Women in Esports initiative, designed to provide greater opportunities and visibility for underrepresented groups. This year’s tournament expands to a 64-team Swiss stage, ensuring every participant gets multiple matches before the top eight advance to the playoffs.

Lioness Cup 2025 Tournament Schedule

• Swiss Stage: 8–10 December (off-stream)
• Playoffs: 11–12 December (streamed live)
• Grand Final: Friday 12th December

Watch Live

The playoffs on the 10th, 11th and 12th December will be streamed live on the Women in Esports Twitch channel, featuring professional broadcast talent, expert commentary, and high-level VALORANT competition, with the full talent line-up to be rolled out over the next few weeks.
