All the winners listed British Esports 10 min read | 24 Oct 2025 In summer 2025 we saw the Student Champs Grand Finals hosted at our National Esports Performance Campus (NEPC) in Sunderland for the first time! This brought a whole new level of production and experience to not only our competing students, but those in the broadcast, from College of Esports (who got to work first hand with the fantastic team at EPIC.LAN to help create and produce the entire final). Overwatch 2: Confetti Arrows (Confetti College) In a long-awaited rematch of last year’s Overwatch 2 Finals, we had another round between Confetti Arrows (pictured above) and Antares.exe! These players are no strangers to each other, often scrimming online and communicating with each other throughout the year. This year, the difference maker seemed to be Confetti Arrow’s own Kolapip, whose display with tank Wrecking Ball was almost pure perfection. The winning team: weather#2176 arkayxo#2331 kolapip#261 Revilo#21395 CHEESEY#21564 HavocX3866#2578 League of Legends: Croydon Prime (Croydon College) After winning the Open Division 1 finals last year, Croydon Prime made the jump to the Nationals League! We had an extremely close game 1, ending in a dragon fight falling in the way of Croydon Prime, continuing into what could only be described as an inspired performance from midlaner Khmelnytsky. Croydon Prime closed out game 2 against Burnley Esports, claiming the 2-0 victory. The winning team: Rexpher#1610 | CRD Rexpher VeryWashed#00000 | CRD VeryWashed CRD Khmelnytsky#EUW | CRD Khmelnytsky CRD MidRare#CRD | CRD MidRare ANGUISHED ANGEL#1v9 | CRD Angel 艾Socks#Diff | CRD Socks Rocket League: Aerial.exe (Exeter College) Exeter College is no stranger to Student Champs Finals! This year Nuqqet and JFC returned with a new teammate in Daneal. Ex captain Sylvie, who graduated last year, returned in a coaching capacity, helping the boys to stay cool, calm and collected as they went head-to-head with York College, bringing home the trophy that escaped them over the past few years. The winning team: nuqqet JFC danrll VALORANT: Conel Cyphers (Capital City College) Bouncing back from an extremely close game at last year’s final against Burnley College, the Conel Cyphers used their previous LAN experience to snatch the win away from GCS Owls. They worked hard throughout the year to get the win in the final when it counted this time – congratulations on the turnaround, Cyphers!
