Clash Royal player EGW has made it through, as has the Dota 2 team consisting of RCE, Phish, Fish, Heavenly Pact and Nagi, alongside coach E-Clown. EGW beat players from Georgia, Montenegro and Greece to qualify, alongside other European talent from Hungary, Portugal and Serbia. Unfortunately, due to logistical challenges, it looks like the Dota team won’t be able to attend the event in India. However, they still made great progress through the qualification rounds, and British Esports wants to highlight their achievement. The Global Esports Games (GEG) Mumbai 2025 World Finals will be held from February 26th to March 1st 2026. GEG is an international esports tournament series, where players represent their countries for medals. Great Britain players have previously won silver medals in the past, such as The4Philzz in Street Fighter V at GEG Istanbul 2022 and the women’s Dota 2 team at GEG Singapore 2021. British Esports, along with support from various partners, are applying to be the National Team Partner for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November 2026.
