British Esports talent shortlisted in Esports Industry Awards

The first wave of nominees for the 2017 Esports Industry Awards have been named, and there’s a host of British esports talent or those based in Britain included.

Joe Brady is a finalist for Esports Photographer of the UK. He previously worked in the TV industry for four years, both in post-production and production, working on shows such as Top Gear, QI and The Apprentice.

In the Esports Journalist of the Year category, several names are in the running for the award, including Dexerto’s Mike Kent, Turner Broadcasting’s Richard Lewis, Esports Insider’s Oliver Ring, CSGO analyst Duncan Shields,

The Esports Videographer of the Year has British finalists from Lewis Farley to Rhys Rasmussen, Tom Newman and Lucas Pasiut.

In the streamer category there’s Christopher “Sacriel” Ball among others.

Other categories at the awards include Esports Breakthrough Game of the Year, Streaming Platform of the Year, Game of the Year, Coverage Website of the Year and more.
