Last weekend, ESL UK crowned the winners of its UK and Ireland Premiership Spring 2017 tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) and League of Legends.
On Saturday, UK organisation FM-eSports beat fellow UK side MnM Gaming in a thrilling CSGO final 3-1.
FM’s CSGO roster consists of:
- Tramaine “Stan1ley” Stanley
- Brandom “weber” Weber
- Neil “nEiLZiNHo” Finlay
- Aaron “fre1” Frei
- Reece “Puls3” Marrs
And on the Sunday, MnM Gaming defeated top-of-the-table side Team XENEX 3-0 in the League of Legends final. In doing so, they pick up their second ESL Premiership League of Legends trophy in a row, and qualify for Riot Games’ European Challenger Series Qualifiers tournament which takes place summer 2017.

Each winning team won £3,000 and the runner-up took home £1,500 – that’s on top of individual prizing from the group stages.
