The most recent British Esports Championships finals recently concluded and our 2020 winners have been announced.

Now all eyes are looking towards the next tournaments and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling with Championships that are bigger and better than ever from September 2020.

The next esports championships for schools and colleges will get underway later this year and work has already begun on these. They are open to students aged 12+.

It’s looking like we will retain Rocket League, Overwatch and League of Legends as the three games available to compete in. However, there may be other activities and titles and half-term cups to get involved in. For example we have been running one-off tournaments in FIFA and NBA2K, and recently held our Rocket League Showdown.

You can now register your interest in taking part here. This form is to register your interest in future seasons of the British Esports Championships, we will contact you when details of the next season are ready with more information on how to finalise your registration.

For more info on the Championships, check out Championships hub.

Before registering, please note:

  • Only staff members/teachers can register for the British Esports Championships on behalf of their students in their respective school or college.
  • The default match day is Wednesdays. The default match time is 16:00. Though you are able to reschedule, this is at the discretion of your opponents, so if they are unable to, then the default day/time stands.

The entry fee for the British Esports Championships last year was £25 per school, plus £5 per team, per game, per season (+ VAT).

For example if a school wanted to enter 1 Rocket League team for two seasons, this would be £35 (£25 for the entry fee, plus £5 for one team for two seasons.
