A new Street Fighter V Extreme Series is bringing tournaments to Colchester’s Xtreme Gaming centre.

The Street Fighter V tournaments, in association with ZOWIE by BenQ, will be free to enter and some matches will be streamed online. Hosted by James Banks, a professional presenter and streamer, the events will be aimed at bolstering the local scene and are sure to bring in a crowd.

More than £1,000 of prizes are being distributed at every event, including a monitor and cash prizes, along with an all expenses paid trip to the regional finals and the possibility of progressing to the world finals in Taiwan.

The first event kicks off at 11am on March 25th at Xtreme Gaming; there will also be system set-ups available for friendly matches after the main event. There will be a new event every two weeks until May 5th.

To sign up for the event visit the Challonge site here.
