“I am truly honoured and delighted to be recognised for my efforts to encourage more diversity and inclusivity in all areas of the esports industry,” said Bryony-Hope Green, British Esports Content Manager.  “A large part of my role at British Esports is focused around delivering educational content covering the vast spectrum of roles and individuals in esports, and being in a position to have an impact feels incredibly rewarding.”

“Our Women in Esports initiative is built around several key pillars, one of which has a clear focus on building a welcoming, safe and supporting community.” said Billie Purdie, Women in Esports Manager, British Esports.  “To be nominated for Aspiring Ally is extremely humbling.  Being an ally is a constant process of listening and engaging, and I feel the hard work to support our community that the wider team put in, exemplifies that.”

British Esports and Women in Esports would like to congratulate all the other nominees in The*GameHERs awards’ as well as thanking the wider esports community for its continued support.
