The rise of women in esports: panel blurb

When over 50% of gamers are women globally, there should be no barriers to equality on the field of play. So how can the esports industry ensure that women are properly represented at all levels, covering fans, players, managers, casters and top professional players?

At eScon we will discuss THE RISE OF WOMEN IN ESPORTS and we will address the rise of women in gaming and the overall topic of diversity in gaming. Content will cover new and exciting initiatives and the positive steps that are being taken to change the current climate.

Where are we with diversity in 2017?

Why are women targeted and what can we do to break the cycle?

Should there be an all female-league?

How do feel about the results for recent initiatives and who can provide us with the next steps?

You can find out more on the Escon Europe website
