We are looking for writers in each title. These titles are: OverwatchRocket LeagueValorantLeague of Legends If you are someone who is passionate about esports, and looking to gain some experience in esports journalism, please look at the description below, and if interested, apply with a CV and cover letter through the form on the main volunteer application page. Please note: We can only appoint volunteers who are not currently playing for a team in the British Esports Student Champs. Applications close on Wednesday 31st August 2022. Responsibilities: Work from a project brief Manage a storage folder Grab clips and VODs from the British Esports Student Championships broadcasts to edit into weekly highlights (match days are every Wednesday)Send highlights to our Video Content Executive in a timely manner for them to be uploaded to the British Esports YouTube channel. Requirements: Working knowledge of video editing softwareHave good communication skills and work well as part of a teamAbility to meet deadlines and collaborate with team membersPassion for esports and basic knowledge of esports titles, streaming platforms and the games in our Championships (Rocket League, Overwatch, League of Legends, VALORANT) Additional Information: This is a voluntary role and as such there may be other ways for you to get involved with British Esports and our friends, beyond video. This role is one of several volunteer positions British Esports is looking to fill around its 2022/23 British Esports Student Championships for schools and colleges.
