We’re all about celebrating grassroots achievements here at the British Esports Association, and on the weekend the UK Overwatch community had reason to celebrate.

Luke “iuKeEe” Dainton, British Esports Association’s Overwatch adviser and coach for Ex-Cyclone, has seen his team pick up victory after victory of late.

On the weekend they qualified for the TakeTV Takeover 2 tournament, which takes place at the TaKeTV studios in Krefeld, Germany from June 1st to 4th. The tournament will feature eight Overwatch teams and a $50,000 prize pool.

Ex-Cyclone qualified without dropping a map.

Pretty crazy to think we didn’t even drop a map yesterday, a long month ahead of us now to prepare for the best talent across Europe!
