David Martin has formally joined the British Esports Association team as Head of Skills.

Dave has more than 15 years’ experience advising the education sector including government, professional institutions and employers about skills, both in the UK and internationally.

In 2017 Dave co-founded an international edtech company to look at enhancing the skills required for global projects like the China Belt and Road. He also holds numerous executive roles across tech as an investment and skills adviser.

Dave has been working with British Esports since late 2017 but is now formally coming on board as Head of Skills to help support the Association and its relationships with colleges and educational organisations.

Chester King, British Esports Association founder and CEO, commented: “I’m really pleased that Dave is finally joining British Esports – we have been working together since 2017 on various esports training projects, but due to the increase in interest in esports he is a much needed resource.”
