Last month, the British Esports Association was interviewed by CalvinAyre.com about the value of supporting grassroots esports from a brand and advertiser perspective.

Content Director Dominic Sacco made the point that by supporting lower tier esports tournaments, brands can help grow the UK community.

Fast Web Media reached out to British Esports this week to share something it’s produced to help marketers better understand the esports audience.

It’s an e-book titled ‘Understanding esports audiences and how to segment them’, and features data from Newzoo and other sources presented in a manner to help educate those who aren’t as familiar with the esports industry.

It’s aimed at marketers and esports industry members, offering an understanding of the different kinds of people engaged.

“This content can really help marketers understand the industry in more depth and consider their options when it comes to investing,” Fast Web Media said in a statement.
