Certified by the British Esports Association, backed by Twitch and taught in Confetti’s industry-leading facilities, this exciting new degree covers: Esports and live events production Games development and analysis Broadcasting and streaming Content creation Event management . It’s a three-year full-time BSc (Hons) course, with direct entry into year 2 or 3 available with previous HND/FdSc. On Confetti’s campus, students have access to the very best facilities, and from day one will be immersed in a gaming and live events community in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter. Confetti promises a ‘blended learning experience’, combining online learning with elements on campus including practical tasks around esports production. Confetti says students will learn from the best thanks to their experienced tutors, many of whom have worked in the gaming and live events industries, and that students will graduate with the knowledge they need – and a brimming portfolio – to turn their learning into a career. CEO of Confetti, Craig Chettle MBE, said: “We believe now is the right time to launch this degree – it capitalises on Confetti’s existing expertise in gaming, live and technical events, broadcasting and creative entrepreneurship and it will offer a mix of theory and practice with real-life work-based-learning at the heart of the course.” British Esports Association chair, Andy Payne OBE, added: “We are so delighted to see top-class educational institutes such as Confetti getting involved in the esports education space, and are thrilled to be partnering with them for this degree course.
